BR Malls, headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, was an owner and manager of retail property in Brazil with malls across major metropolitan areas targeting every income sector. In 2007, EI led the company’s successful initial public offering on Brazil’s Bovespa (Bovespa:BRML3) as well as subsequent follow-on offerings. EI monetized its investment in BR Malls through a series of public transactions.
