Credito Inmobiliario (CI) was a privately held residential mortgage and finance company created by the merger of Credit Inmobiliario and Hipoticaria Terras. As a registered Sofol (a special-purpose, non-bank-regulated financial institution), CI originated, arranged, funded, and serviced mortgage loans to individual home buyers and provided bridge loans to homebuilders in Mexico. EI monetized its investment in CI through a private transaction.
